Swimmers departed from Kaş by ferry at 07:30 yesterday and arrived at Meis Island, entering the water at 08:30. The race was officially started by the Mayor of Meis, Nikolaos Asvestis. Italian athlete Egor Tropeano was the first to complete the 7-kilometer course.
