Currency
The official currency used on Meis Island is the Euro. However, due to its proximity to Kaş, Turkish Lira is also widely accepted. There are no luxury brands or high-end boutiques on the island. Instead, you will find charming souvenir shops and small boutiques where you can purchase magnets, decorative items, and colorful dresses. Language
Greek and English are spoken on the island.
There are no car rental companies on Meis Island. However, sea taxis are available, and yacht charter services can be arranged upon request.
Religion
Approximately 98% of the population follows the Greek Orthodox faith (Greek Orthodox 98%, Muslim 1.3%, other 0.7%). Freedom of religion is guaranteed by the Constitution, and other religious communities, including Muslims, Catholics, Protestants, and Jews, have their own places of worship.
